Krrish is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language superhero film directed by Rakesh Roshan and starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra. It is the second installment in the Krrish franchise, following Koi... Mil Gaya (2003). The film follows Krishna, the son of a scientist who inherits superhuman abilities from his father's encounter with an alien. He falls in love with Priya, a journalist who travels to Singapore to expose a corrupt scientist. However, he also has to face his father's nemesis, Dr. Siddhant Arya, who has a sinister plan to destroy the world.
Krrish was dubbed in Tamil and released in Tamil Nadu along with the original Hindi version. The film begins with a flashback of the events of Koi... Mil Gaya, where Rohit Mehra, a mentally challenged man, befriends an alien named Jadoo, who gives him superhuman intelligence and abilities. Rohit marries his childhood friend Nisha and they have a son named Krishna. However, Rohit and Nisha die in a car accident when Krishna is five years old, leaving him in the care of his grandmother Sonia.
Krishna grows up to be a kind-hearted young man with extraordinary powers inherited from his father. He lives in a remote mountainous area in northern India, where he keeps his abilities a secret from the world. He meets Priya, a journalist from Singapore who comes to his village for a holiday. He falls in love with her and saves her from a paragliding accident using his powers. Priya is intrigued by Krishna and invites him to Singapore to meet her friend Honey, who is actually Dr. Siddhant Arya's henchwoman.
Dr. Siddhant Arya is a rogue scientist who was arrested by Rohit for stealing his father's invention, a computer that can communicate with aliens. He escapes from prison and kidnaps Rohit, who survived the car accident but went into a coma. He forces Rohit to revive the computer and use it to contact Jadoo, hoping to gain his powers and destroy the world. He also plans to use Priya as a bait to lure Krishna to Singapore and capture him.
Krishna arrives in Singapore and meets Priya, who is unaware of Honey's true identity. He also meets his father Rohit, who has regained consciousness and escaped from Siddhant's clutches. Rohit tells Krishna about his past and warns him about Siddhant's evil intentions. He also gives him a mask and a costume and names him Krrish, telling him to use his powers for good.
Krrish becomes a superhero and saves people from various dangers, such as a fire in a circus tent and a runaway train. He also foils Siddhant's attempts to kill him and Priya. He reveals his identity to Priya and confesses his love for her. Priya reciprocates his feelings and agrees to marry him.
However, Siddhant kidnaps Priya and threatens to kill her unless Krrish surrenders himself. Krrish agrees and goes to Siddhant's island fortress, where he fights Siddhant's army of mutants and robots. He manages to rescue Priya and Rohit, who joins him in the battle. They confront Siddhant at the top of the tower, where he activates the computer and tries to contact Jadoo.
Jadoo responds to the signal and sends a huge meteor towards the earth. Siddhant believes that Jadoo has granted him his wish and laughs maniacally. However, he realizes too late that Jadoo has actually sent the meteor to destroy him and his tower. Krrish uses his powers to divert the meteor away from the earth and towards Siddhant's tower, killing him in the explosion.
Krrish, Priya and Rohit escape from the island in a helicopter. They return to India, where they reunite with Sonia and celebrate their victory. The film ends with Krrish flying into the sky with Priya in his arms. ec8f644aee
